The Golden State Warriors kicked off their six-game road trip with a disappointing 124-115 loss to the Atlanta Hawks. Playing without their star guard Steph Curry, who suffered a pelvic contusion in a previous game, the Warriors struggled early, falling behind 40-23 in the first quarter, largely due to the Hawks' strong start led by rookie Zaccharie Risacher and Trae Young.

Despite a valiant effort in the fourth, where they cut the lead to eight, the Warriors couldn’t close the gap. Jimmy Butler emerged as the top scorer for Golden State with 25 points, supported by Moses Moody’s 20 points and Jonathan Kuminga’s 16 off the bench. For Atlanta, Young and Georges Niang each contributed 25 and 23 points, respectively, maintaining control throughout the game.
