The Miami Heat are making headlines this offseason with a strong interest in adding former All-Stars Damian Lillard and Bradley Beal to their roster. According to NBA insider Marc Stein, the Heat are exploring the possibility of acquiring Lillard, who was recently waived by the Milwaukee Bucks, and are also considering acquiring Beal via a buyout from the Phoenix Suns, where he has a hefty contract of $110.8 million over the next two years.

Beal, who averaged 17.0 points and 3.7 assists last season, could enhance the Heat’s offense alongside stars Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo by providing much-needed floor spacing. The addition of both Lillard and Beal would significantly elevate the Heat's chances in the Eastern Conference, especially following their recent acquisition of sharpshooter Simone Fontecchio. With the trade of Jimmy Butler to the Golden State Warriors leaving a gap in star power, Heat president Pat Riley sees a golden opportunity to fortify the roster.
