The facility aims to foster a community spirit, offering services that no other facility in Iowa currently provides.

With the backing of the North Liberty City Council, the project has secured an 8-year tax rebate, while fundraising efforts will support a scholarship fund for families in need. The Murray Foundation, along with NBA matching donations from Murray's sons, is committed to ensuring accessibility for all aspiring athletes. The initiative builds on a legacy of Iowa basketball excellence, represented by Kenyon and his sons, both of whom have made significant impacts in collegiate and professional basketball.
