Smith, who played for USC from 2008 to 2010, made a significant impact as an offensive lineman. Initially serving as a backup in his freshman year, he became the starting right tackle by his sophomore year, showcasing his talents and earning first-team All-Pac-12 honors during his junior season. He was also awarded the Morris Trophy as the top lineman in the conference.
