The Kansas City Chiefs have waived running back Keaontay Ingram, a veteran who was part of their Super Bowl LVIII-winning roster. Ingram had been with the Chiefs since 2023, initially signing to the practice squad, where he earned a spot on the 53-man roster briefly before returning to the practice squad later in the season. His collegiate career was marked by impressive stats at both the University of Texas and USC, where he amassed over 2,700 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns along with 671 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns. Despite his skills, Ingram was not in contention for a starting role this season.
