Miami Dolphins' offensive tackle Bayron Matos was recently released from the hospital after suffering an upper body injury during training camp. The injury occurred on the last play of practice, following a collision with a teammate. Fortunately, Matos displayed movement in all extremities by Thursday morning, alleviating concerns about serious damage. He was originally brought in as part of the NFL’s international player pathway program and spent his previous season on the practice squad, making his future participation uncertain.

Alongside Matos, other Dolphins players, such as cornerback Kader Kohou and safety Ashtyn Davis, have also faced injuries during the early days of camp. The Dolphins’ roster depth will be tested as they navigate these setbacks, especially for a player like Matos, who is still establishing himself within the team.
