The 29-year-old forward has showcased impressive performance, having led the Blackhawks this past season with a career-high 31 goals and 62 points across 80 games. Previously drafted by the Boston Bruins in the second round of the 2014 NHL Draft, Donato has compiled 227 points from 108 goals and 119 assists over his NHL career, which spans five teams, including the Bruins, Minnesota Wild, San Jose Sharks, Seattle Kraken, and the Blackhawks themselves. He has also registered two assists in 19 playoff games.
