Cayden Lindstrom, the top prospect for the Columbus Blue Jackets, recently wrapped up his junior hockey career with the Medicine Hat Tigers, competing in the Memorial Cup championship despite battling injuries.

After a challenging season marked by a back surgery, Lindstrom prioritized returning to his team for the WHL playoffs, leading them to a strong finish. Although the Tigers fell short against the London Knights in the championship, Lindstrom's journey back to the ice was a significant personal victory.

Looking forward, he is set to join Michigan State’s hockey program, taking advantage of new NCAA eligibility rules that allow CHL players to compete at the collegiate level. With his skills and size, it’s possible Lindstrom could transition to the NHL after just one season at Michigan State.
