The Dallas Stars have officially re-signed goaltender Rémi Poirier, a sixth-round pick from the 2020 draft, to a two-year, two-way contract that starts in the 2025-2026 season. Poirier, who has yet to make his NHL debut, had a strong season with the Texas Stars in the AHL, posting a 17-11-2 record with a .908 save percentage and a 2.50 goals-against average in 31 games, along with three shutouts. He also contributed significantly during the Calder Cup Playoffs with a .919 save percentage. As he returns to Texas, he is expected to solidify his position behind Jake Oettinger and Casey DeSmith on the depth chart.
