Fabian Zetterlund has secured a three-year contract worth $12.825 million with the Ottawa Senators. The 25-year-old forward, who previously played for the San Jose Sharks, contributed significantly last season with a total of 41 points, including 19 goals and 22 assists across 84 games. The Senators acquired Zetterlund at the trade deadline in March, along with Tristen Robins, in a deal that saw them sending Noah Gregor and Zack Ostapchuk to the Sharks.

General Manager Steve Staios expressed satisfaction with Zetterlund's performance and his value to the team, highlighting his strong work ethic and scoring ability. Zetterlund's career thus far includes 116 points in 247 games since being drafted by the New Jersey Devils in 2017.
