Canucks ship goaltender Silovs to Penguins for forward Stillman, 2027 fourth-rounder

The Vancouver Canucks have traded goaltender Arturs Silovs to the Pittsburgh Penguins. In exchange, they receive forward Chase Stillman and a fourth-round draft pick for 2027. Silovs, who is 24 years old, struggled last season in the NHL with a 2-6-1 record and an .861 save percentage, though he did help the Abbotsford Canucks win the Calder Cup with a more impressive AHL record of 14-5-2 and a .908 save percentage. Stillman, a 22-year-old first-round pick from 2021, has yet to make his NHL debut.
