Dru Krebs, 22, signed with Fort Wayne for 2025-26 after turning pro last season, splitting time between Greenville and the Ontario Reign and posting 12 points in 58 games with the Swamp Rabbits. Krebs hails from Okotoks, Alberta, was a sixth-round NHL pick by the Capitals in 2021, and is Peyton Krebs’ younger brother. Krebs’ WHL pedigree with Medicine Hat backs his two-way upside, and the Komets look to develop him as an emerging defenseman with potential NHL depth down the road.
