The Chicago White Sox have made significant roster changes as they head into opening day. Infielder Josh Rojas and Bryan Ramos, along with outfielder Mike Tauchman, have been placed on the 10-day injured list. Rojas is dealing with a right toe fracture, while Ramos has a right elbow strain, and Tauchman is sidelined due to a right hamstring strain. In addition, left-hander Tyler Gilbert is out for 15 days due to left knee bursitis, while Drew Thorpe is on the 60-day IL after undergoing Tommy John surgery.

The team has bolstered its lineup by adding right-hander Mike Clevinger, outfielder Travis Jankowski, and infielder Nick Maton, who all joined on minor league deals during the offseason. Clevinger will now work out of the bullpen after a career predominantly as a starter. Meanwhile, Andrew Benintendi has made a comeback to the starting lineup as designated hitter, despite recently recovering from a broken right hand.
