Travis Adams, a former standout pitcher from Palm Desert High School, has been called up to the major leagues by the Minnesota Twins at the age of 25. After a solid stint with the Triple-A affiliate in St. Paul, where he logged a 3.43 ERA over 42 innings in 13 appearances, Adams is set to make his debut. His potential was recognized early on when he was drafted in the sixth round of the 2021 MLB draft from Sacramento State, and he has since earned a spot on the Twins' 40-man roster. Kody Funderburk was optioned back to St. Paul to make room for Adams.
