This incident occurred in the eighth inning with the Diamondbacks leading 3-2. Despite fan interference, umpires ruled the ball was not catchable by Diamondbacks' Tim Tawa, ultimately allowing Koss to advance to second base. The Diamondbacks went on to win 4-2. The fan has previously been involved in multiple infractions at Chase Field and will be eligible to return in 2026, pending adherence to the team's code of conduct.
