Myles Straw crossed the plate on Clement's perfectly executed bunt, while Bachman, who suffered the loss, threw high to first base, allowing the winning run. Chad Green secured the win for Toronto after pitching a scoreless tenth. A three-run sixth inning, highlighted by singles from Andres Gimenez and Bo Bichette, initially gave Toronto a 3-0 lead.

The Blue Jays’ starting pitcher Eric Lauer showcased his talent through six-plus innings, allowing only two runs and striking out six. However, his performance faltered in the seventh when Mike Trout and Taylor Ward's singles led to Jo Adell's impressive 431-foot homer. With this win, Toronto continues to solidify its playoff aspirations as the Angels push for a wild-card spot in the American League.
