The Toronto Blue Jays have made a significant roster move by recalling infielder Leo Jiménez from Triple-A Buffalo. Jiménez, who has yet to play in the majors this season, is set to join the active roster for the Canada Day game against the New York Yankees. To make room, outfielder Jonatan Clase has been sent back to Buffalo. In 2024, Jiménez posted a .229 batting average with four home runs and 19 RBIs over 63 games for Toronto. Meanwhile, Clase struggled in his time with the Blue Jays, hitting just .210 with two homers and nine RBIs across 34 games.
