The Toronto Blue Jays have made a roster change by recalling infielder Will Wagner from Triple-A Buffalo, following his impressive minor league performance this season, where he hit three home runs and drove in 13 runs in just 18 games with a .268 batting average. In his brief stint with the majors, however, Wagner has struggled, batting only .186 with two RBIs over 20 games.

In a corresponding move, outfielder Alan Roden has been optioned back to Buffalo after registering a .206 batting average with one home run and eight RBIs in 42 games for Toronto this season. Roden was previously called up when teammate Anthony Santander was placed on the 10-day injured list.
