Dane Jackson is making his debut with the Carolina Panthers after being activated from injured reserve. He had been recovering from a hamstring injury sustained during the summer.

Windman, who had a notable college career, will bolster the edge rotation, contingent upon the health of Jadeveon Clowney and DJ Wonnum. Additionally, the Panthers signed veteran inside linebacker Shaq Quarterman to their practice squad, waiving wide receiver Deon Cain to make room.
