Giovanni Manu showed real progress in Detroit’s 2025 camp, trading rookie roughness for steadier base footwork and a more controlled initial punch, thanks in part to LeCharles Bentley’s OL Performance Center. In the Falcons preseason, with multiple Lions o-line bodies out, Manu started at left tackle and finished with a mix of positives and negatives across 48 snaps. The best sequence came on a backside screen cut block that opened the throwing lane, while fatigue and a few quick Falcons rushes exposed remaining technique gaps.
