The Kansas City Chiefs are set to activate wide receiver Marquise 'Hollywood' Brown from injured reserve for their upcoming game against the Houston Texans, barring any setbacks.
Brown has been sidelined since suffering a sternoclavicular injury during the preseason opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars, which required surgery and subsequent rehabilitation. He recently returned to practice.
To make room for Brown, the Chiefs released running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire. Last season, Brown had 51 receptions with the Arizona Cardinals, and his standout year was in 2021 with the Baltimore Ravens, where he recorded 91 catches for over 1,000 yards.
