The Kansas City Chiefs have made a strategic addition to their roster by signing veteran defensive lineman Jerry Tillery to a one-year contract. Previously a first-round pick by the Los Angeles Chargers in 2019, Tillery has shown his prowess as a pass rusher during his tenure in the NFL, contributing significantly to the defenses of the Chargers, Raiders, and most recently, the Vikings.

In his last season with Minnesota, Tillery started 11 games and recorded 28 tackles, including one for a loss. While he may not be considered a star, his experience and skills will bolster the Chiefs' defensive line under coordinator Steve Spagnuolo, especially as the team aims for a potential fourth consecutive Super Bowl appearance.
