Beatrice High School has honored its former student, Cam Jurgens, by renaming its football field to Cam Jurgens Field. The center for the Philadelphia Eagles was a standout athlete, excelling in multiple sports during his time at Beatrice High and was the top in-state prospect before being drafted in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Recently, Jurgens secured a significant four-year, $68 million contract extension with the Eagles, underscoring his rising profile in the NFL.
