The PWHL is strengthening its business side with two new Senior Director, Business Operations hires, Marie-Christine Boucher and Erin Leigh, who will work with Team Business Directors to shape local strategies in marketing, ticketing, community programs, communications, and game-day experience.

Kim St-Pierre will replace Boucher as Director, Business Operations for the Montréal Victoire, and Joe Anderson moves to Director, Communications and Community Relations for the Minnesota Frost. Leigh joins with two decades of experience from the NHL, NBA, and FEVO, while St-Pierre brings Hall of Fame leadership and on-ice success to the front office. All report to Jayne Bussman-Wise, as the league doubles down on growth and fan engagement.

131 young players joined the Minnesota Frost at TRIA Rink for a Summer Camp that blended on-ice skill work, off-ice training, and team-building—all delivered by Frost players and staff. Split into U8, U10, and U12 groups, the sessions centered on skating, puck handling, goalie technique, and fitness, with a strong emphasis on Frost culture: teamwork, growth, and fun. The Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) has achieved remarkable success in its inaugural seasons, captivating fans with exciting games and impressive viewership numbers. The league kicked off in January 2024 with a sold-out match between the Toronto Sceptres and New York Sirens, garnering 2.8 million viewers. As the season progressed, attendance at games surged, with many traveling to witness the action in person.

The Minnesota Wild's home arena, previously Xcel Energy Center, has officially been renamed Grand Casino Arena following a 14-year partnership with the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe.
