Frankie Montas has officially joined the New York Mets on a two-year contract worth $34 million. The deal includes a player option for 2026 and a $17 million salary for the upcoming season, along with perks such as a hotel suite during road trips.
Montas, 32, had a mixed season with a 4.84 ERA and 148 strikeouts over 150.2 innings. Despite a challenging year, the Mets are optimistic about his potential impact on their pitching rotation, especially after his performance with the Milwaukee Brewers.
