Giants backup catcher Tom Murphy sustained an injury in the second inning against the Phillies and angrily slammed his gear in frustration after a rain delay at Citizens Bank Park.

The Giants lost their top two catchers to injuries, with Patrick Bailey on the concussion list and Murphy's status uncertain. Catching depth will be tested.
