The Green Bay Packers have released kicker Alex Hale, an International Player Pathway participant, following an eye injury sustained prior to training camp. Hale had been placed on the non-football injury list and is expected to miss several weeks of action. The Packers are now seeking a replacement kicker to alleviate the workload on veteran Brandon McManus during training camp. Hale, who previously played at Oklahoma State, was signed by the Packers in August 2022.
