Dallin Holker, a tight end for the New Orleans Saints, has announced his retirement from football shortly after being waived during training camp. Holker, a second-year player from Colorado State who had shown potential as an H-back, took to Instagram to express his gratitude for the opportunities he received, reflecting on his journey through various schools including BYU and his high school in Lehi.

His announcement came on a day when the Saints also saw franchise legends Jimmy Graham and Tyrann Mathieu retire. The 25-year-old Holker thanked his family and the Saints organization for their support, indicating that after much consideration, he decided to step away from the sport.
