Turner landed on the 10-day injured list with a Grade 1 hamstring strain after beating out an infield single and coming up awkwardly at first base.

An MRI confirmed the strain; the earliest he could return is Sept. 19 in the three-game set with Arizona, but a full return that soon isn’t expected as he ramps up with pole runs and catch work and will swing a bat soon.
