Nyheim Hines, the former Indianapolis Colts running back who last played in 2022, has signed with the Los Angeles Chargers. Hines hasn't been on the field since suffering a significant knee injury and tearing his ACL in a jet-ski accident during the 2023 offseason, which kept him out of the entire season. After signing with the Cleveland Browns in the offseason, he did not see any regular-season action in 2024 either.

Drafted in the fourth round by the Colts in 2018, Hines had a solid career in Indianapolis, showcasing his versatility as both a rusher and receiver out of the backfield. His trade to the Buffalo Bills mid-2022 yielded Zach Moss and a conditional pick for the Colts. Now with the Chargers, Hines aims to reclaim his spot in a highly competitive backfield.
