Josh Reynolds, formerly of the Jacksonville Jaguars, has signed with the New York Jets on a one-year deal worth up to $5 million. The Jaguars released him before the free agency period, opting to save cap space. Reynolds had a lackluster season with four games and just one catch for 11 yards after joining Jacksonville midseason following a stint with the Denver Broncos.

In 2023, Reynolds had a breakout season with the Detroit Lions, recording 740 receiving yards and six touchdowns. With the Jets, he reunites with coach Aaron Glenn and GM Darren Mougey, who had connections to his past. This move aims to bolster the Jets’ receiving corps and provide the team with a versatile weapon.
