The Jacksonville Jaguars have officially signed punter Logan Cooke to a four-year contract extension, keeping him with the team until the end of the 2029 season. This signing comes just ahead of minicamp, as Cooke was entering the final year of his original contract.

Coming off a stellar 2024 season where he was selected to his first Pro Bowl and named a second-team All-Pro, Cooke averaged nearly 50 yards per punt, with a net average of 44.8 yards. He ranked highly in crucial punting metrics, including a top-five finish for punts downed inside the 20-yard line and a minimal number of touchbacks. His performance significantly contributed to the Jaguars' special teams ranking as one of the best in the NFL last season.
