Former Penn State players have made their mark in the NFL, with eight athletes taking the next step in their careers. While Kevin Winston Jr. is still recovering from an injury, his peers have chosen new jersey numbers with their respective teams.

Abdul Carter, now with the New York Giants, settled on No. 51 after having his requests for No. 11 and No. 56 denied. Tyler Warren, the tight end for the Indianapolis Colts, switched to No. 84, differing from his No. 44 at Penn State. Jaylen Reen, drafted by the Houston Texans, will wear No. 34 after previously wearing No. 1. Kobe King, linebacker for the Minnesota Vikings, remains loyal to his roots with No. 41, the same number he wore in college.

Sal Wormley joined the Jacksonville Jaguars, taking No. 61, while Jalen Kimber, now with the Tennessee Titans, will switch from No. 3 to No. 35. Finally, Coziah Izzard has chosen No. 93 with the Kansas City Chiefs, not far off from his No. 99 from college.
